Position Description

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analysis Manager to join the LNA Corporate Team in West Hartford, CT. This role will will lead the end-to-end reporting support and partner with LNCA logistics teams to implement, track progress, and achieve business strategies and lead in any process standardization/optimization leading to overall value realization within logistics across LNCA. This role will be part of the LNCA Operations Finance and will be expected to work across the organization to analyze data and identify opportunities throughout logistics.

 

What Will You Do?

  • Develop and manage financials and reporting for Logistics Centers across LNCA (US & Canada).
  • Analyze cost saving potential for productivity and sourcing projects in the Distribution Centers.
  • Track KPI’s related to logistics transformation projects.
  • Act as financial liaison to support the Legrand finance and operational groups.
  • Month end financial close including but not limited to: journal entries, consolidation reports, monthly account reconciliations.
  • Perform monthly financial variance analysis.
  • Supports analysis, planning and forecasting Logistics activities strategic initiatives for current and future fiscal years.
  • Develop financial models using excel and BPC financial reporting system to report and communicate trends on financial performance.
  • Lead in the budget and forecast process for the logistics team and provide finance support to functional cost center leaders; oversee and manage the creation and completion of annual budgets.
  • Manage fixed asset tracking and reporting of capital expenditures.
  • Perform ad-hoc project analysis to support LHI finance function.
  • Provide internal controls with entity level balance sheet reviews and documentation for selected financial control procedures.
  • Develop robust Business Case KPI tracking including but not limited to Project Cost, Productivity Savings Projects, Freight, Inventory, and Capital.
  • Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Qualifications

Required Skills

 

Education & Experience:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance with a, MBA Preferred.
  • 5+ years of related work experience. 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Must possess strong analytical skills and the ability to identify trends and establish proactive corrective actions.
  • Requires strong organizational and time management skills, close attention to detail and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities. Requires close attention to detail, ability to audit work to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
  • Exceptional computer skills. Company specific accounting and finance software and systems a plus (Infinium, RMKTG, Everest, Query, GCOVE, BPC).
  • Able to communicate effectively both in written format and oral presentation. Able to create effective reports, presentations and business correspondence. Must be an effective listener, able to maintain focus extract necessary information and validate understanding of the information.
  • Must have solid business acumen and understanding of a variety of functional areas within the business.
  • Working knowledge of Planful.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required.
