Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Business Systems Support Technician to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Power Bus Way Team in Mississauga, ON. The Business Systems Support Technician plays a critical hands-on role in deploying, supporting, and improving ERP, CPQ, and integrated software solutions across our operations. You will work closely with engineering, production, and business teams to ensure systems run smoothly, processes are optimized, and data is accurate and reliable.

 

What Will You Do?

  • ERP Modernization & CPQ Rollout: Play a key role in stabilizing and expanding the platforms that control quoting, pricing, configuration, and order processing.
  • Cloud & Integration Growth: Support cloud migrations and develop system integrations as our tech stack moves toward more automation and API-driven workflows.
  • Direct Business Impact: Work closely with teams on the shop floor and in the office, turning real business needs into functional, efficient software solutions.
  • Configure, test, and deploy new ERP and CPQ features and enhancements.
  • Troubleshoot integration issues between ERP, CPQ, and other connected applications.
  • Document procedures, workflows, and technical changes clearly for user adoption.
  • Provide hands-on support to internal users; resolve tickets and maintain system stability.
  • Support cloud migration tasks and environment checks.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications

 

Required:

  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent hands-on experience in software support, implementation, or technical operations.
  • 1–3 years experience in a technical support or implementation role (co-op included).
  • Ability to work on-site.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and ownership mindset.
  • Strong Python skills (data cleanup, automation scripts).
  • Strong SQL skills (validation queries, reconciliation checks).
  • Experience with ERP administration (Odoo preferred, but similar systems acceptable).
  • Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, Postman, and integration concepts.
  • Solid IT fundamentals (networking basics, troubleshooting, permissions, OS familiarity).
  • Experience with Git and version control workflows.
  • Strong Excel/CSV handling and general data competence.
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities.

Preferred:

  • Prior work with CPQ platforms (rules, constraints, guided selling).
  • Azure cloud exposure (storage, compute, networking basics).
  • Experience with ETL tools or low-code automation (Power Automate).
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or distribution processes (BOMs, routings, inventory).
  • QA/testing mindset (automation, structured testing, data validation).

 Salary Range: $65,000-$80,000/annually
