Position Description

At a Glance

 

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Technical Marketing Intern to join the Legrand Data Center Power & Control Team in New London, CT. Responsible for assisting the Product Marketing team in the development, develop techincal diagrams, animations, and images for solutions.

 

What Will You Do?

  1. Create diagrams for product solutions.
  2. Assist in developing the 3D experience – Chroma Link and beyond.
  3. 3D animations – explainer videos for products.
  4. Develop other 3D assets as assigned.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • Education:  Currently enrolled in, or recently completed engineering, marketing, or Art and Design.
  • Experience: No experience required.

 

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling and softwares such as: Blender, Solid Works, Unreal, AutoCAD
  • Creative approach to problem solving based on theoretical and practical knowledge of systems and solutions, fiber and copper network knowledge perfered.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must have an acceptable level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a positive team environment.
  • Must be able to contribute to several projects at a time. Must be eager to learn new design skills by working with the Engineering team, Technical Marketing team, and Design team, and to effectively apply those skills on the job.
  • Prepare written and verbal reports with some possible presentations to staff level Marketing Managers, Product Managers, and Engineers required.
  • Availability to work Full-Time in New London, CT.
