Monitors supplier capacities for assigned commodities to ensure no unexpected capacity constraints occur. This role is responsible for ensuring that the final product is functionally and aesthetically compliant according to customer specifications, documenting non-conformances, and maintaining related records. Main Job Duties:- Perform first-article inspection for sheet metal, welded and painted parts- Ensure conformance to all specifications, customer requirements and company practices- Conduct a thorough visual inspection of final products to identify defects or deviations from quality standards and customer specifications- Utilize measuring tools and equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy- Assure products meet specifications as defined by spec sheets, bill of materials, and AQL - Audit production lines to document/record key production parameters- Perform pallet inspections to ensure proper packaging before release for shipping- Complete final inspection reports- Ensure accuracy and organize inspection documentation as required in the database- Perform touch-ups as necessary- Complete assigned work within a given timeframe and according to specifications- Follow instructions as provided by the supervisor- Adhere to all company safety regulations and support safety policies and improvements- Cooperate with other employees in the department to maintain a safe working environment- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work area- Other duties as assigned
