Finelite is seeking an Industrial Engineer (IE) with experience in the Lean Operations department who will execute IE planning, designing, and enforcing operations processes. The candidate leads utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to continuously improve efficiency of operations. The person will be responsible for labor, methods, and equipment Return on Investment (ROI) calculation as well as facilities layout and work process control. As Finelite is committed to reducing waste, continuous 5S and other lean manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Director of Lean Business Process (or IE Manager), the qualified candidate will be expected to work independently and diligently, using technical judgment, and manufacturing knowledge to support operational initiatives. What Will You Do? • Primary IE workload:        o Operations process improvement (focuses in Manufacturing and collaborates with Purchasing, Quality Control, and Engineering).        o Factory work cell/manufacturing process layout/workflow/materials flow design and improvement.        o Facilities renovations (planning, contractor coordination, and city/landlord approvals).        o Assist Manufacturing Engineering team – NPIs (New Product Developments), ECOs (Engineering Change Orders), and OMSs (Operations Methods Sheets).        o Supportive process control – packaging design, marketing/sales data flow, BOM/pick list accuracy, IT systems, etc.• Develops manufacturing/machining processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with strategic supplier and equipment vendors.• Identifies operations process problems via root cause analysis to problem solve, train, document, and revise issue cause(s).• Improves manufacturing/machining efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, materials flow, and facilities layout.• Researches, proposes, and executes facilities trade work (via contractors in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, etc.) to plan improvement in current operations as well as future work cell expansion.• Assists Manufacturing Engineering team:        o Liaison with Engineering on NPI (New Product Introductions) integration and develop training and documentation schedule.        o Implement, train, and follow-up on ECR/ECOs and other relevant processes that directly impact manufacturing.• Leads interdepartmental business process improvement (Sales/Marketing, Engineering, Finance, etc.).• Provides manufacturing and finance decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; estimating future requirements (such as product labor time studies).• Participates in budgets and tracking of Operations-based manufacturing expenses and Capital Expense Requests/Reports (CERs).

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a DATA Steward to join the Legrand Team.  The Data Steward will combine a base of solid product knowledge with a strong grasp of structured data hierarchies, dependencies, and relationships in order to help Legrand business division/sector ensure that product data is available, complete, consistent, and in the format needed for digital marketing and eCommerce. The Data Steward will understand how master data and web content management systems pull information from various locations to deliver an on-page experience for the web user that helps website users find the right product and gather the necessary information for decision-making.  The successful candidate demonstrates a firm understanding of data management fundamentals and can work collaboratively with Product Data Quality (PDQ) and business division stakeholders to document requirements in adherence with data standards.  What Will You Do?- Manage all the content (product specifications, descriptions, titles) that are pulled into the product detail pages across the Division’s websites (including myLegrand; legrand.us; cables to go)- Manage all data projects across the division, including individual business unit initiatives aimed at improving product data information.- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure all data on the websites reflects entire business requirements, including Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, and Marketing.- Follow guidance from the Central Marketing and IT teams and make recommendations as it pertains to data taxonomy updates and system configurations.- Work within the product content management (PCM) tool to manipulate and structure data in one-off or bulk edit situations. Responsible for managing and maintaining the data within the PCM tool.- Work within syndication systems we subscribe to, to manipulate and structure data for import into those systems. The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for a full range of production powder coat duties on fabricated metal parts of different shapes and sizes and which require various colors.  What Will You Do? • Prepare and monitor surface treatment and water titration• Checks the quality of the paint job and that paint is adhering properly. Ensure mil spec is acceptable.• Assist with cleaning of spray booths after and prior to color changes and normal cleaning schedules.• Perform preventive maintenance on sprayers and personal protective equipment.• Drives best practices amongst other painters for proper techniques• Conducts complete changeovers of the paint booths and guns and cleans the system.• Conducts first piece inspections of the new parts prior to and after curing oven.• Assist with material handling equipment.• Receive material and prepare appropriate documentation for schedule. • Must be able to perform at least 4-5 different tasks around the paint line.• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area consistent with company’s housekeeping and safety policies.• Paint all materials according to schedule

The set-up and operation of assigned fabrication machine to form parts from cold rolled, stainless steel and aluminum, according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements. 2nd shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am Monday - Friday, (OT and Saturday is based on production needs)   What Will You Do?- Form parts from cold rolled, stainless steel and aluminum, according to manufacturing procedures and scheduling requirements- Set-up and operation of Amada Press Brakes (RG, HFB, HDS and FBD) and Safan- Select, load and  install correct tooling; maintain tool inventory: keep tools clean and orderly- Determine dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces- Stage completed product on skids- Work from live schedule, verbal and written instruction, bills of material, routing, samples, blue prints and control plans- Perform quality inspections of parts to produce products that exceed customer’s expectations- Assist in efficient flow of raw materials routed to the Track as well as the flow of materials in down-stream processes of parts; Utilize space in an efficient manner - Assist in down-stream operations as needed, depending on flow and workload- Perform other duties as assigned
