 At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing  Associate to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. Job Summary:Perform fabrication and assembly operations to produce products of all kinds, including more complex operations. Major Responsibilities/Activities:- Complies with all OSHA and Company safety procedures and works in a safe manner to insure both personal safety and safety of others.- Performs all assignments with attention to quality standards of workmanship.- Fabrication and assembly activities include, but are not limited to, pressing, tapping, welding, sealing, labeling, stamping, sawing, cutting, counting, loading and unloading products, cartons, and pallets.- Cutting to length and fabricating wires and assembling power/data devices into products, including terminating connections and testing of assemblies or finished products.- Ability to obtain and maintain wiring certification (if applicable).- Packs, seals, and labels all products utilizing tools and equipment as needed. At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Shipping Packager to join the OCL Team in St. Louis, MO. Prepares, bundles, and packages the finished product for shipment to the customer. Secures finished product for transport using manual bundling tools. Moves finished product to designated area by manually lifting, moving, and/or using a forklift. What Will You Do?- The packager secures and bundles product for shipment. Tools used; cardboard, wood reinforcements, strapping tools, tape, and shrink wrap.- Applies labels to the finished product.- Moves and stacks material/product to designated area (staging, will call etc...).- Cuts wooden shipping reinforcements using a table saw.- Ensures accurate customer order number is placed on finished packages.- Assist the other departments when needed- Responsible to inspect all products packaged to ensure high quality shipment to the customer- Ability and knowledge of forklift operations, certification is onsite required.- Good knowledge of appropriate safety practices; must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies and practices.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.- Able to stand the majority of the work day- Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling.- Keeps work area clean and organized.

The PDS assists with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Pilot runs by developing DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) processes. In addition, the PDS will conduct time and labor studies to justify Return on Investments (ROIs) and production labor planning standards. The PDS will work with Finelite’s Lean and Facilities teams and reports to the Senior Manager of Lean Manufacturing. What Will You Do?- Creates step-by-step work instructions or OMS documents based on Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering production templates (including NPIs, Pilot runs, and Custom jobs).- Works closely with the training coordinators to recognize factory training opportunities and create/modify OMS, assisting w/ training as necessary- Maintains up-to-date OMS database including: OMS documents, Instruction Sheets (ISs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), Critical Characteristics (CCs), and other supporting drawings.- Maintains OMS sequence of events for the assembly processes with input from Design Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Production, and Quality Assurance.- Partners w/ Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers to obtain and analyze information to verify completeness and accuracy of engineering data for transfer to Production personnel.- Observes and time documents workflows for labor studies.- Supports implementation phases of Lean projects such as, but not limited to: cell layout, OMS install, lamination, signage etc.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, the candidate performs tasks using proper materials and methods to ensure work is done properly and safely. With an emphasis on carpentry and electrical tasks the role may also include rough/finish woodworking, painting, HVAC, mechanical (forklifts, air compressors, benchtop tooling, etc.), plumbing, general handyman, janitorial, and related skills. Project-level upgrades to site(s) and equipment will be intermittently assigned as well as supervision/oversight to the Facilities team. What Will You Do?- Performs carpentry, woodworking, and painting w/ minimal direction.- Performs basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC and/or facilities maintenance.- Inspects buildings/grounds according to established guidelines for condition, safety, and cleanliness. Responsible for managing EH&S programs across all Finelite campuses in Union City & Livermore, CA, the position implements safety programs strategized toward zero injuries and world class performance, plans and/or delivers programs to train managers and employees in workplace safety practices, and promotes facility/factory safety by working with all departments to analyze current conditions and recommend safety improvements. Analyzes accident data to identify trends and accident types that can be prevented, leads the Finelite/LNCA Safety Committee, and spear-heads external safety events and audits. Monitor OSHA required records and reports, coordinate compliance driven safety activities, monitor individual safety committee actions and verify effectiveness, monitor safety training both for compliance and effectiveness. Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs at all sites.
