Setup systems and train end users on system operations. Troubleshoot and service all of our products. Provide manufacturing support with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues. Work with a diverse team of manufacturing, quality, purchasing, planning, engineering, and field service professionals to facilitate root cause analysis and determine corrective action to improve efficiency in the manufacturing process. Main Job Duties:- Provide electrical technical support to assembly, surface mount technology operations, and driver tuning operations teams- During the assembly process, inspect products for adherence to quality specifications. Report findings related to quality issues with recommendations for resolving issues- Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, engineering, and field service to identify and implement solutions for technical design problems that occur during the manufacturing assembly process.- Adjust and replace broken electrical components and circuitry- Assemble and test circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, blueprints, and diagrams- Build, calibrate, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment- Clarify build details related to electrical questions from employees responsible for building lighting fixtures- Identify and resolve factory test issues to improve test yields over time- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning light fixtures during the manufacturing process- Inspect incoming electronics components, as required.  At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing  Associate to join the Wiremold Team in West Hartford, CT. Job Summary:Perform fabrication and assembly operations to produce products of all kinds, including more complex operations. Major Responsibilities/Activities:- Complies with all OSHA and Company safety procedures and works in a safe manner to insure both personal safety and safety of others.- Performs all assignments with attention to quality standards of workmanship.- Fabrication and assembly activities include, but are not limited to, pressing, tapping, welding, sealing, labeling, stamping, sawing, cutting, counting, loading and unloading products, cartons, and pallets.- Cutting to length and fabricating wires and assembling power/data devices into products, including terminating connections and testing of assemblies or finished products.- Ability to obtain and maintain wiring certification (if applicable).- Packs, seals, and labels all products utilizing tools and equipment as needed. Secures finished product for transport using manual bundling tools. Moves finished product to designated area by manually lifting, moving, and/or using a forklift. What Will You Do?- The packager secures and bundles product for shipment. Tools used; cardboard, wood reinforcements, strapping tools, tape, and shrink wrap.- Applies labels to the finished product.- Moves and stacks material/product to designated area (staging, will call etc...).- Cuts wooden shipping reinforcements using a table saw.- Ensures accurate customer order number is placed on finished packages.- Assist the other departments when needed- Responsible to inspect all products packaged to ensure high quality shipment to the customer- Ability and knowledge of forklift operations, certification is onsite required.- Good knowledge of appropriate safety practices; must wear appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies and practices.- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.- Able to stand the majority of the work day- Able to perform repetitive job functions; hand mobility, bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling.- Keeps work area clean and organized.

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Process Documentation Specialist to join the Finelite Team in Union City, CA.Process Documentation Specialist Position Description: Working directly with Finelite’s Lean Manufacturing and Engineering departments, the Process Documentation Specialist (PDS) creates new and modifies existing Operational Method Sheets (OMSs) for Finelite’s production departments. The PDS assists with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Pilot runs by developing DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) processes. In addition, the PDS will conduct time and labor studies to justify Return on Investments (ROIs) and production labor planning standards. The PDS will work with Finelite’s Lean and Facilities teams and reports to the Senior Manager of Lean Manufacturing. What Will You Do?- Creates step-by-step work instructions or OMS documents based on Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering production templates (including NPIs, Pilot runs, and Custom jobs).- Works closely with the training coordinators to recognize factory training opportunities and create/modify OMS, assisting w/ training as necessary- Maintains up-to-date OMS database including: OMS documents, Instruction Sheets (ISs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), Critical Characteristics (CCs), and other supporting drawings.- Maintains OMS sequence of events for the assembly processes with input from Design Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Production, and Quality Assurance.- Partners w/ Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers to obtain and analyze information to verify completeness and accuracy of engineering data for transfer to Production personnel.- Observes and time documents workflows for labor studies.- Supports implementation phases of Lean projects such as, but not limited to: cell layout, OMS install, lamination, signage etc.
