The Stopped Jobs Planner will provide a liaison between manufacturing engineering, fabrication, paint, assembly, purchasing and sales departments in matters concerning stopped or delayed production. Follow progress of orders through plant in accordance with priority production schedule. Contact production supervisor in connection with special handling, availability of materials, delays, and changes in promise dates. Contact vendors concerning material shortages and delivery promises. Anticipate probable delivery failures and take appropriate corrective action. Direct delivery of materials to production departments. What Will You Do? Essential Job Functions:- Under general direction, coordinate assembly, paint, fabrication / assembly operation, and purchase components, analyze requirements, release manufacturing orders to meet department needs and provide quick turnaround on stopped or delayed manufacturing orders.- Evaluate and respond to requests on stopped or delayed orders. Take the lead to gather information and quickly return manufacturing orders to production. Create and schedule various plant operations including, but not limited to, the following: delayed, rework and new manufacturing orders.- Work closely with manufacturing engineers, track support, programmers and department management to gather basic information on required rework operations. Offer recommendations and alternatives for improvement to meet customer requirements in a timely manner. Conduct analysis in the following categories: RoHs, California Proposition 65, REACH, Conflict Minerals, Living Building Challenge, VOC’s, Organohalogen Flame Retardants, Asbestos Content, Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), and PFAS.- Develop and maintain product transparency documents: PEPs (Product Environmental Profiles) and HPDs (Health Product Declarations).- Advocate and subject matter expert of the legrand Way Eco Design process.
