The Sr. Human Resources Manager will play a pivotal role as a strategic partner across the organization, with a specialized focus in Manufacturing. The Sr. HR Manager acts as a leadership coach, strategic partner, and change agent partnering with management and HR to improve working relationships by build engagement and increasing productivity. This multifaceted role involves providing expert input into a wide array of HR policy development, implementing capacity-building initiatives, and overseeing complex enterprise-level HR projects and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Human Resources, this position holds a pivotal role in driving organizational excellence and fostering a positive work culture. What Will You Do? Employee Relations & HR Programs- Manages employee relations programs including the development and implementation of company-wide human resource policies and practices. Proactively work with managers to identify opportunities for improving employee relations activities that are complimentary with business priorities.- Acting as a trusted advisor; providing prompt and effective support to management in coaching, motivating, and counseling employees.- Leveraging HR data to inform and influence key decisions, process improvements, and policy changes. Stay abreast of HR legislation and trends to ensure best practices and compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Interior Architecture Specialist to join the Focal Point Team in Chicago, IL.  Focal Point has an immediate opening for an Interior Architecture Specialist to join our Architectural Systems team.  This is a unique opportunity for a future leader to join a diverse and entrepreneurial team. This Chicago-based role is primarily responsible for working with customers – interior designers, architects, contractors, and Focal Point agents, interpreting their design intent as communicated through project meetings, sketches, and architectural drawings, and realizing those designs with both 2D and 3D drawings and specifications. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who can work well under autonomy; is confident, positive, high-energy, cultured, and capable of easily interacting with corporate leadership, and is flexible and willing to get involved in many diverse activities as required in a startup environment. The Interior Architecture Specialist reports to Director, Architectural Systems. What Will You Do?Focal Point’s Architectural Systems team is responsible for the design and production of interior architecture systems with an emphasis on integrated ceilings, walls, and light. Strategic Customer Project Support- Act as a key point of contact for Architectural Systems’ customers, including architects, designers and Focal Point sales representatives.- Liaise with architects and designers on the development of layouts, mounting details and integrated ceiling and wall systems.- Collaborate with architects and designers to understand their documentation process and tools, developing strategies to best support these- Work with the Architectural Systems team and outside contractors to perform space layouts, acoustic calculations and lighting calculations- Work with customers on custom opportunities, including new installation techniques, dealing with space obstructions, or other potential modifications, by taking requests and working with the technical team to propose and develop reasonable, cost-effective solutions- Create project take-offs and work with Focal Point’s sales team to generate quotes and orders, as needed- Work with customers, the Product Manager, and Business Unit Lead on pricing negotiations- Help usher projects through Focal Point’s production operation to ensure successful delivery, especially with any ‘non-standard’ products, including performing design work- Travel to customer sites for project discussions, field installations, field support and/or post-installation wrap-ups- Ensure timely interaction with Customer Service to resolve open customer items- Log all customer interactions into CRM for project tracking Product Strategy / Support- Assist in the development of and own use of both internal and customer-facing tools to help automate and scale the design and construction process.- Interact with market stakeholders (at Focal Point or at the customer location) and capture voice-of-customer (VOC) insights to help inform the product roadmap and strategy- Support market research and analysis efforts, and continuously monitor – and capture information on – competitors, channels and market trends Customer Experience- Help lead the in-house customer experience for customers during factory visits, including production area tours, product demonstrations and sample builds- Assist with trade show product and booth builds for Architectural System shows- Perform in-field sales presentations and project support

The Continuous Improvement Leader is responsible for supporting the lean transformation and daily management initiatives by ensuring strategies are implemented, and principles/practices/tools are incorporated in the culture and processes under transformation. This person implements and supports actions that bring about improvements which may include, but are not limited to safety, customer value proposition, quality, delivery, cycle, growth, margin expansion, and inventory. This position reports to the Plant Manager. What Will You Do? To support the organization in implementing lean transformation and standard daily management across Focal Point including:· Implement tactical strategies to achieve the desired operational vision· Execute activities against long and short-term objectives to support the Plant’s KPI’s and goals· Work with necessary site personnel to identify, address, and eliminate process related obstacles and waste· Assist in the change systems/processes as required in support of the lean initiatives· Utilize value stream mapping techniques to design optimal product, material and information flow methodologies To act as a change agent to bring improvements to the overall plant through active support, facilitation, and leadership of Kaizen events; including:· Coaching and following-up on pre-work and post-work standards· Facilitate, co-facilitate or participate in events, projects, and “just do it’s”· Participate in Gemba walks, coaching employees on continuous improvement, standard work, and waste reduction· Coach employees on problem solving techniques· Help create, update, and maintain visual management tools To support activities needed to incorporate lean transformation and daily management into the Plant culture:· Assist in the identification and facilitation of lean and continuous improvement training to the hourly and salaried staff· Drive an Operational Excellence culture, through coaching employees, to drive lean behaviors, and follow the Legrand Way· Facilitate the completion of the Legrand Way Radar to identify focus areas to improve in lean culture· Coach the Legrand Way Values to all employees Track improvements made to the Plant to provide assurance that changes are effective and sustainable:· Audit the areas after improvements are implemented· Monitor and report on key metrics
