The Sr. Program Manager will be a strategic business partner to the Operations, Supply Chain, GM/VP, Finance and LNCA (corporate) organizations. This position is responsible for the overall success of high-profile strategic projects. Programs may involve strategic growth/reorganization initiatives. Direct delivery of materials to production departments. What Will You Do? Essential Job Functions:- Under general direction, coordinate assembly, paint, fabrication / assembly operation, and purchase components, analyze requirements, release manufacturing orders to meet department needs and provide quick turnaround on stopped or delayed manufacturing orders.- Evaluate and respond to requests on stopped or delayed orders. Take the lead to gather information and quickly return manufacturing orders to production. Create and schedule various plant operations including, but not limited to, the following: delayed, rework and new manufacturing orders.- Work closely with manufacturing engineers, track support, programmers and department management to gather basic information on required rework operations. Offer recommendations and alternatives for improvement to meet customer requirements in a timely manner. Evaluate to ensure proper information is provided, updated and distributed in a timely manner.- Assure the maintenance of the Epicor System with regard to accuracy; bill of material, inventory adjustment, rework, scrap, manufacturing orders and bill of material level reduction.- Utilize departmental records and files, create and update current procedures, suggesting improved procedures and responsibilities for schedules and processes assigned this position.- Maintain various reports including Stopped Order Report, Scrap report and other such reports as requested.- Participate in company programs and committee groups established to improve quality, reduce costs and satisfy customer requirements.- Recommend items related to continuous improvement, evaluation and recommendations for departmental improvements for workflow, procedures and computer enhancements.
