At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Truck Driver to join the Legrand North America Team in Fort Mill, SC. This position will jockey trucks back and forth from the yard to the facility shipping area, as needed and provides information on the availability of trucks to the Transport Department. What Will You Do?Drives switch truck to locations on terminal lot to hook/pick up trailers or unhook/drop trailers. Ensuring operation in safe and efficient manner in accordance with company safety rules. Prepares fuel tickets, activity reports, etc., and submits to supervisor. Maintains communication with company offices via two-way radio and/or telephone. Performs other related work which will include but not limited to; working in the warehouse alongside of warehouse crew, as required while operating within required work requirements of the position. Conduct yard checks and keep logs.

MAIN JOB DUTIES:- Cart Picking- EPT Picking- Pack–Parcel/ Repack- Bundling- Perform other duties as requested by supervisors or management
- Sort, scan, count and weigh returned products.- Examine and inspect returned products and ensure credit to the appropriate entity.- Execute the packaging, taping and labeling of all shipping cartons.- Execute quality inspections per Standard Work guidelines.- Move completed product to or on moving equipment such as pallets for put away.- Report damaged material or questionable conditions to the Lead or Department Supervisor.- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations at all times.- Breakdown cardboard cartons for reuse or recycling.- This list is not all inclusive. - Communicate effectively with peer as well as members of the management team, to provide daily production support in Receiving, Wave Planning, Shipping, and Inventory.- Support external clients to ensure product, supplies, and services are provided accurately and timely.- Professionally resolve carriers and customers inquiries timely.- Assist the Leads and Supervisor to effectively organize scheduling plans and orders.- Work within multiple systems to ensure data is correct for order processing.- Assist Supervisor to resolve customer inquiries and damage claims in a professional and timely manner.- Under Supervisory guidance assists with monitor and control cost.- Utilize MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).- Collaboratively work with new team members on all department process and procedures.- Actively participate in the department continuous improvement activates.- Performed all other duties as assigned.
