At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director of Finance to join the Lighting Sector Kenall Team. This is a Hybrid position in Kenosha, WI. As part of the executive management team, the Senior Director of Finance is responsible for the financial leadership and strategic financial planning of the business unit. They direct the finance and accounting teams following International Financial Reporting Standards, and the internal controls and compliance programs coordinated with the Legrand Internal Audit department. The Senior Director of Finance reports to the Lighting Sector VP, Finance. They have dotted line reporting to the brand Presidents and key relationships with the Lighting Sector VP, Operations. They serve as a business partner to the Presidents, and VP of Operations in forming and executing the strategic plan. What Will You Do?- Oversees all functions within the finance operation of the business unit, including accounts payable/receivable, credit and collections, general accounting, internal controls, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting, and treasury.- Defines structure, roles, and responsibilities of finance organization in coordination Lighting Sector VP, Finance. Selects, manages, develops, and evaluates the performance of finance staff; recommends and implements personnel actions.- Prepares or directs preparation of financial statements, business activity reports, financial position forecasts, annual budgets, and financial reports required by the organization or regulatory agencies promptly.- Recommends and develops policies, procedures, and systems to meet short and long term financial objectives. The Financial Planning Analysis Manager will lead the Financial Planning & Analysis efforts by supporting the Sr. Director of Finance in providing in-depth analysis of financial results to senior management to assist in business decision making. Leads the annual budgeting and forecasting processes. Ensures that budgeted investments are expenditures are well vetted utilizing sound financial analysis. Also, deploys appropriate processes, tools and controls to ensure that said investments align with strategic goals and meet financial performance requirements. Manages FP&A team and resources. Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000 What Will You Do?- Partner with Sr Director of Finance to ensure that organization is properly monitoring and controlling costs.- Partner with leadership team members and management to actively manage budget attainment.- Understanding not just the numbers – but the business activity and actively providing input to management as to decision making and strategic direction.- Support monthly close process.
