At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Administrative Assistant to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Pass & Seymour Team in Syracuse, NY. This person will provide administrative and project support to the VP/GM of the business as well as supporting leadership team members. This role will also support EWS Sales event planning, meetings and arrangements. In this position, there is a combination of task-oriented work as well as work that requires creative thinking. The ideal candidate is someone that enjoys getting involved, particularly with the planning, launching and running of projects, events and meetings as well as handling the routine demands of the job. What Will You Do?- Provide administrative and office support for day-to-day activities and projects to key leaders and other individuals as needed- Support communications with all levels of the organization.- May draft language and generate graphics, slides and presentation materials; create spreadsheets, flow diagrams and reports - Maintain calendars, schedule travel, meetings and activities.- Handle arrangements for all types and levels of meetings, internal and external.- Make arrangements for meetings involving Legrand personnel from other facilities, customers or suppliers which may require that additional arrangements be made for transportation, lodging, etc.- Schedule travel itineraries, meetings and related activities. Send necessary materials ahead or with manager for meetings, presentations, etc.- Working individually, or leading a team, take responsibility for planning and carrying out corporate events, department off-site meetings, teambuilding activities and group dinners. Develop schedule of events, identify and secure facility, handle all arrangements and details including agenda/presentations, refreshments, entertainment and related.- Lead and manage site Event Committee and planning.- Support site ERG activities.- May provide support and backup for other functions, as needed, for vacations and other absences, or as workload demands.- Complete expense reports as needed.- Order supplies, business cards, nameplates, handle purchase orders.- Handle mail and package distribution/shipments.- Perform other similar and related duties as required.- Work with sales and marketing to support scheduling product training education events.- Support coordinating corporate and national meetings for sales and marketing teams.- Manage customer and sales team events such as NAED, NEMRA and other individual customer events.- Manage Payment process for annual memberships i.e. NAED, NEMRA NECA Electric and corporate sponsorships.

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control Division in Anaheim, CA. This position will support the operations and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. The position will be responsible for coordinating Environmental, Health, and Safety regulatory programs and their permitting applications. At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Process Documentation Specialist to join the Finelite Team in Union City, CA.Process Documentation Specialist Position Description: Working directly with Finelite’s Lean Manufacturing and Engineering departments, the Process Documentation Specialist (PDS) creates new and modifies existing Operational Method Sheets (OMSs) for Finelite’s production departments. The PDS assists with New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Pilot runs by developing DFMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly) processes. In addition, the PDS will conduct time and labor studies to justify Return on Investments (ROIs) and production labor planning standards. The PDS will work with Finelite’s Lean and Facilities teams and reports to the Senior Manager of Lean Manufacturing. What Will You Do?- Creates step-by-step work instructions or OMS documents based on Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering production templates (including NPIs, Pilot runs, and Custom jobs).- Works closely with the training coordinators to recognize factory training opportunities and create/modify OMS, assisting w/ training as necessary- Maintains up-to-date OMS database including: OMS documents, Instruction Sheets (ISs), Bills of Materials (BOMs), Critical Characteristics (CCs), and other supporting drawings.- Maintains OMS sequence of events for the assembly processes with input from Design Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, Production, and Quality Assurance.- Partners w/ Industrial and Manufacturing Engineers to obtain and analyze information to verify completeness and accuracy of engineering data for transfer to Production personnel.- Observes and time documents workflows for labor studies.- Supports implementation phases of Lean projects such as, but not limited to: cell layout, OMS install, lamination, signage etc.

Responsible for managing EH&S programs across all Finelite campuses in Union City & Livermore, CA, the position implements safety programs strategized toward zero injuries and world class performance, plans and/or delivers programs to train managers and employees in workplace safety practices, and promotes facility/factory safety by working with all departments to analyze current conditions and recommend safety improvements. Analyzes accident data to identify trends and accident types that can be prevented, leads the Finelite/LNCA Safety Committee, and spear-heads external safety events and audits. Monitor OSHA required records and reports, coordinate compliance driven safety activities, monitor individual safety committee actions and verify effectiveness, monitor safety training both for compliance and effectiveness. Lead ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 programs at all sites.
