They will also maintain and update existing products as well as design and develop. What Will You Do?- Process job packages to production.- Update existing drawings.- Work with Engineers generating 3-D model assemblies, mechanical assemblies, detail drawings, customer drawings, and assembly/installation instruction sheets. - Prepares design specification, analysis, and recommendations for presentation and approval. Create and modify detailed drawings from sketches, architectural plans, layouts, or notes provided by engineering.- Support other departments with illustrations, rendered models, and other documents as requested.- Assist engineering leaders in working with vendors and inspect first piece sample parts.- Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Investigates, evaluates, justifies and implements new processes. What Will You Do?-  Using concepts associated with product slotting, develop and implement warehouse layout and logistics plans, including grouping products and product families to optimize pick productivity and minimize travel time, determining optimum sizing of pick face locations, work balancing to improve material flow and reduce congestion, load building to ensure placement of product that minimizes product damage during packing and good ergonomics to reduce risk of injury. Over time, monitors changes in customer demand and product offerings and modifies slotting to ensure continued efficiency of warehouse layout.- Uses analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict and/or improve logistics operations and processes. Assists in the development of policies, guidelines and procedures to ensure quality and cost control.- Using knowledge of industrial engineering, warehouse management system to plan and develop activities. Provides data analysis for key projects.- Monitors inventory and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and fill rates.
