At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a CAD Drafter I to join the OCL Team in St. Louis, Missouri.  Role:· Support the Design and Engineering teams in designing and developing innovative and differentiated products that reflect the brand strategies of OCL for commercial and Industrial applications.· Use CADD software (Solidworks) to support engineering by preparing layouts, detail drawings, 3D solid models, assembly drawings, sketches, Instructions & diagrams for projects and jobs. Main Job Duties:1. Use Solidworks to support engineering by preparing layouts, detail drawings, 3D solid models, assembly drawings, sketches, Instructions & diagrams for projects and jobs.2. Multiple concept generation (sketching, rendering and illustration).3. Assist in the research and creation of project scopes for both sustaining and new product projects.4. Create documentation for prototype model making and production (artwork, CADD models & Drawings).5. Ability to communicate design ideas using sketches and computer-generated visualization tools. Including (but not limited to): Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Alias Sketch, Microsoft Office Suite etc.6. Working knowledge of Solidworks CADD software, prototype, and production manufacturing processes.7. Create physical prototypes using fabrication, 3D printing and mockup processes.8. Present work performed to design, marketing, engineering, and management teams.9. Create product designs that reflect brand strategies and that meet design, marketing, production, and business objectives.10. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Powder Coat Painter to join the OCL Team in St. Louis, MO. The Powder Coat Painter is responsible for a full range of production powder coat duties on fabricated metal parts of different shapes and sizes and which require various colors.  What Will You Do? • Prepare and monitor surface treatment and water titration• Checks the quality of the paint job and that paint is adhering properly. Ensure mil spec is acceptable.• Assist with cleaning of spray booths after and prior to color changes and normal cleaning schedules.• Perform preventive maintenance on sprayers and personal protective equipment.• Drives best practices amongst other painters for proper techniques• Conducts complete changeovers of the paint booths and guns and cleans the system.• Conducts first piece inspections of the new parts prior to and after curing oven.• Assist with material handling equipment.• Receive material and prepare appropriate documentation for schedule. • Must be able to perform at least 4-5 different tasks around the paint line.• Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work area consistent with company’s housekeeping and safety policies.• Paint all materials according to schedule

Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Operates all machinery in the fabrication department that may include:- Punch press- Brake press- Break form- Roll form- Saws (horizontal/vertical/circular)- Grinder- Drills (hand/stationary)- Forklifts - Works independently to complete assigned work orders within the allotted amount of time for each job.  - Responsible for setting up work station and equipment.- Must be able to maneuver fabrication machines, such as grinders, drill presses, brakes, rolls, to cut, bend, grind and adjust materials according to engineering blueprint.- Review blueprints, drawings, and other specification papers before starting work on a fabrication process and during the steps to ensure accurate completion- Complete production paperwork to document material consumed, wasted and produced as well as time needed to complete.- Must be able to rotate task as needed.- Must be accountable for own quality and efficiency of work.

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Electrical Assembler to join the OCL Team in St. Louis, MO. This position involves final assembly and wiring of light fixtures.Work involves the assembly, test, and modification of electrical components using blueprints, schematics, written, and verbal instructions. An assembler will use various machines, adhesives, to completely assemble a light fixture. Training provided. Main Job Duties:· Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly drawings/renderings, and receives verbal instructions regarding work assignment.· Aligns and assembles parts such as leads, coils, wires, tabs and terminals into housing.· Routes and laces cables.· Installs components and parts such as switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors, ballasts, and semiconductor circuits on panels, and other units.· Routes and attaches wires and connectors to form circuitry and connects assembly to power supply sources, switch panels, or junction boxes. Attaches hardware and seals assembly.· Examines parts for defects: both visual (chips, scratches) and operational· Tests unit to locate defects, measure performance, determine need for adjustment and verify specified operation.· Replaces defective component and wiring.· Assembles and calibrates fixture according to specifications.
