At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager to join the Data Center Power & Control Team. The Product Marketing Manager will be jointly responsible for marketing-related activities of our product lines: market analysis, competitive research, positioning, generation of content (ads, brochures, etc.), sales support and training, promotional activities, and product launch campaigns. This is a REMOTE position What Will You Do?- Support product marketing and product launch activities- Establish, enhance, or distinguish product placement within the competitive arena- Develop business plans and product positioning in the marketplace including pricing strategies, product specifications, catalogs, data sheets, training aids, web presence, and promotional events- Coordinates product introduction and market exploitation with Marketing and Sales organizations to ensure maximum penetration- Defines promotional activities and expands product awareness through internal evangelization and externally through publicizing the product through the press, and corporate marketing campaigns- Provides continuing product surveillance and collects customer requirements to feedback to the Product Management team for the development of Product Requirements Documents- Assess technology and impact on the roadmap to drive value-focused innovation and technical leadership in the market- Identify market opportunities based on the competitive landscape- Translates product features and benefits into crisp, fact-based, and compelling value propositions, and marketing messages which can be leveraged by PR, sales, industry analysts, etc.- Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas that require personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and hearing protection- Other duties as assigned

This is a remote position, preferably EST or CST with business travel required. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and creative thinker with a proven track record in leading successful marketing programs. As the Residential Marketing Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of graphic designers, social media and content specialists, retail marketing, and external vendors to drive brand awareness and increase demand for our residential products. This role will take a leadership role in deploying the go-to-market strategy for a full line of products and sales enablement programs, while collaborating within the product, marketing and sales teams to support promotional and merchandising efforts. What Will You Do?- Develop strong business relationships across the organization and within Pass and Seymour to develop and ensure execution of high-level and detailed marketing strategies, budgets, and tactics that accomplish and align with business objectives to strengthen the brand and drive demand.- Direct the strategy and execution of full-funnel marketing campaigns and products for the residential market and designer switches and outlets category, targeting homeowners, designers, contractors, and builders.- Partner with retail, lighting showroom, e-commerce, electrical distribution, and sales teams to support merchandising, events, sales enablement, and promotional programs.- Effectively monitor spend against budget across marketing channels (paid search, media, email, advertising, influencer/advocacy, merchandising, content, etc.) and provide recommendations to management for improved allocation of spend to maximize ROI.- Define the brand positioning and messaging strategy for residential products and initiatives, ensuring consistency with overall brand identity, positioning, and messaging architecture.
