The Accountant I is responsible for journal entries, G/L account reconciliations, cash application, sales tax accounts, provide support to the Finance Department to meet internal (Legrand) and external (audit/tax) reporting requirements What Will You Do?- Gather, prepare, and enter journal entries, ensuring they are consistent with GAAP and corporate accounting policies.- Reconciliation and analysis of Balance Sheet Accounts including account reconciliations in CCH Workpaper Manager.- Responsible for intercompany billing, including confirming intercompany balances at month end.- Perform Daily Bank reconciliation.- Assist in tax preparations and filing activities.- Perform ad-hoc project analysis.- Performs other similar and related duties as required.

Responsible for assisting with review of financial statements, journal entries, G/L account reconciliations, prepaid assets, payroll accounts, sales tax accounts, and fixed assets. Provide support to the Finance Department to meet internal (Legrand) and external (audit/tax) reporting requirements. What Will You Do?- Analyzes and reconciles Prepaid accounts and Expenses.- Prepares and maintains all Payroll and Benefits Accounting.- Manages the Sales Tax process and ensures that all Sales Tax accounts are reconciled, and the sales tax returns are filed \timely.- Tracks fixed asset expenditures and approvals, maintain fixed asset database, and reconcile accounts.- Completes the month-end closing within 3 days by coordinating and booking journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing variances and trends, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the general ledger data.- Resolves any discrepancies or irregularities in records, statements, and/or documented transactions.- Assists with monthly financial reporting and reports.- Assists in identifying performance improvement opportunities across the organization.- Closely monitors cost center performance and coordinates with business partners on corrective actions.- Assists with externa/internal audits and tax requirements.- Performs other similar and related duties as required.

At a Glance Legrand has an exciting hybrid opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the WattStopper Team in Richardson, TX.  What Will You Do?The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data for reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. He/she will partner with the Financial Planning & Analysis (FPA) Manager and other Finance team members by providing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and forecasting partnerships. The successful candidate will also prepare a variety of month-end closing functions along with financial forecasting and budgeting inquiries. MAIN ACTIVITIES:1. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report packages for senior leadership using company financial software reporting tools.2. Create monthly variance reports and analyze the reasons behind monthly product and department performance and results.3. Construct monthly sales, sales rebates, and bonus reports.4. At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join the Finelite Team in Union City, CA.The candiate will have direct involvement and responsibilities in the process of budgeting, forecasting and monthly financial close.  Completes compilation of financial data and provides assistance to all levels of management in understanding and interpreting financial results, budgets and related financial information and processes.   What Will You Do? MAIN JOB DUTIES:- Collects and analyzes data for monthly financial forecast, coordinating inputs and preparing forecast for review.  - Works with members of the finance team to complete month-end close in a timely fashion.  Collects data and prepares various month-end financial reports in excel.  - Analyzes financial data, identifies trends and anomalies, determines drivers and prepares summary of findings for review. - Participates in all facets of the the budgeting process, working with finance staff to complete detailed budget in accordance with LNA time frame.  - Prepares, reviews and enters monthly BPC financial reporting- Develop financial models using excel and BPC financial reporting system to report and communicate trends on financial performance.- Insure that defined areas of responsibility are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements including assigned areas outside of Finance.- Review and analyze various business functions and help develop process improvement plans to increase efficiency and improve financial results.- Supports leaders of Finance, Accounting and Functional leads on departmental spending.- Prepares Ad hoc reports and data requests as required
