Under the guidance of the Senior Director of Marketing, the Product Manager is responsible for determining and developing the appropriate product mix in specific categories, marketing planning, and core messaging to ensure a best-in-class competitive product with predictable, recurring, and profitable revenue streams. What Will You Do? ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:The Product Manager will have a proven track record and proficiency in managing the development, implementation and launch of new product initiatives including product, placement, price and promotion. This involves managing the activities of internal/external stakeholders and working closely with Kenall’s functional business departments.The Product Manager will also have a proven track record and proficiency in the discipline of product marketing, having successfully taken new products to market. The Product Manager will research and gather insights to assist the Senior Director of Marketing in setting priorities (product roadmap) for product portfolio planning that includes, but is not limited to product modifications, restages, line extensions and new product introductions. At a Glance Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join the Electrical Wiring Systems Team in Charlotte, NC. Act as a key resource within a direct EWS Sales Team. Manage territory project activity for the EWS Brands of Cablofil, OnQ, Pass and Seymour, and Wiremold in order to grow sales. Responsible for some of the smaller accounts in territory as well. What Will You Do?- Champion project process for Legrand Brands within an assigned territory.- Lead the identification of project opportunities using Salesforce.com (SFDC) and other market resources for the purposes of sharing the information with the Legrand Territory Sales Team.- Be proficient in reading and interpreting Construction Documents (Project Manuals and Drawings) for the purpose of doing accurate take-offs to create a comprehensive bill of materials for as many EWS Brands as possible.- Collaborate with the Market Development Group Representative to identify specification opportunities for the purposes of augmenting Legrand Brands into the Master Specifications, as well as obtain prior approvals on current bid work.- Coordinate bid preparations and administer project quotations to customers.- Be able to close small to medium sized project opportunities on their own.- Integral to the follow-up on projects and quotations to ensure the highest percentage of closed projects as possible utilizing the EWS Sales Team where appropriate.- Assist in all facets of project management - putting together product submittals, processing Purchase Orders, releasing orders, and expediting shipments.- Communicate directly with customers in a friendly and helpful manner.- Account responsibility for some of the local, smaller accounts in the territory.
