The role provides leadership in designing, developing, and validating new products. Works under minimal supervision with wide latitude for independent judgment. What Will You Do?- Create innovative, customizable power distribution busway systems and components.- Use a systematic, analytically-based approach to concepting, designing, and testing.- Design and develop mechanical systems utilizing many manufacturing methods such as thermoplastic extruding, plastic injection molding, thermoset molding, metal forming, metal casting, and metal extruding.- Utilize 2D and 3D CAD systems to perform detailed design analysis, including structural, thermal, and finite element analysis methods.- Provide mechanical materials and tooling cost studies. This is a remote position, someone in the Eastern or Central time zones preferred. The Sales Training & E-Learning Specialist is responsible for the development of online training content. Tracks participation in training activities, develops content for online learning programs. In addition, manages department reporting, the customer feedback loop and improving efficiency of in-person training events. What Will You Do?- Manages online training program website (Legrand Online University) and creation of engaging online and in-person training content in both short and long forms.- Creates web-based training for product introductions and online promotion of webinars to internal audiences using specialized online course development software and tools.- Owns the creation of online training content in collaboration with the marketing, training and product team to create develop training courses/content to support product education and vertical market initiatives.- Creates custom training tracks.- Regularly evaluates and improves the customer-facing presentation and searchability of online training courses on Legrand Online University to drive growth of online programs.- Manages the department training calendar, providing an “always accurate” view of training events to the sales organization.- Creates surveys and gathers trainee feedback; analyzes the results to help the department improve training programs.- Manages the department dashboard to report on department key performance indicators on a regular basis, including training records; recommends improvements based on analysis of available data.- Responsible for scheduling in-person training events including registrations, locations, training invitations, training room setup, sample/literature ordering, display creation and managing event logistics to ensure successful delivery of in-person training.- Identifies how to further market and promote training offerings to Legrand customers via online marketing strategies (email, cross-promotion, website etc.) in collaboration with marketing team.- Captures “case study” and “selling tips” content in video form to be used during trainings.- Up to 20% travel required to customer events, sales trainings or industry events.

What Will You Do?- Process all outbound and inbound subcontractor/vendor shipments.- Prepare shipping documents, such as Bills of Lading, Packing List, Picking Lists, Shipping Labels and obtain a rate quote for LTL/TL shipments.- Schedule pickups for returns and reconsignments.- Assist Customer Service department in booking, expediting, and tracking shipments, provide freight rates and Proof of Delivery’s.- Schedule Carriers to pick up and expedite shipments.- Maintain records of shipments and receipts in SAP software and/or S Drive, used to manage sales transactions, logistics transactions, manufacturing, and accounting.- Prepare Shipping and Subcontractor Reports.- Assist with freight claims and inventory discrepancies (as needed).- Assist with ordering supplies (FedEx, UPS, Pro stickers, office supply's etc.).- Additional responsibilities may arise through the development of the above listed items.
